“The Red” plunges viewers into the heart of the Australian outback, where a relentless police officer investigates a series of gruesome deaths in her small mining town. The eccentric townsfolk must unite to confront a terrifying creature known as Rippy before it claims them all.
Rizk plays the role of Jimmy, the film’s only female hunter, a character she describes as a real highlight in her career. “I love playing gritty, unconventional characters,” Rizk explains, “and Jimmy was exactly that – an outback hunter on the search for a zombie kangaroo.
A Star-Studded Cast and Unforgettable Filming Experience
The actress shared the screen with a talented ensemble cast, including acclaimed actors Aaron Pedersen, Tess Haubrich, Michael Biehn, and Angie Milliken. The collaborative atmosphere on set and the chance to learn from these experienced performers undoubtedly contributed to a memorable and enriching experience for Rizk.
