Q: Leah, tell us a little about yourself.
Just a little about myself. I started off modeling for Dillards through my agent after graduating from college in 2020. I then started training for commercials and films. I fell in love with acting and realized that this was something I wanted to do the rest of my life. I’ve been In commercials, movies, and shows. Out of everything in life, acting is something where I feel like I belong. I have so many goals and visions that im going to reach.
Q: As a rising actress, what do you love most about acting?
A: As a rising actress, I love being able to help bring a director’s vision to life when it comes to a particular role. Being able to work alongside other talented actors who share the same passion as I do makes the experience so much better as well.
Q: Do you have a top 3 favorite filmmakers you’d like to work with in the future ? ( actors/directors)
A: I would love to work with Tyler Perry. I absolutely love Angela Basset. Her acting is phenomenal, and any rising actor/actress can learn a lot from her previous work.
Q: What genre roles are your fav to play?
A: I love any role that takes me out of my comfort zone and challenges me. That would be, thrillers, action, and crime.
Q: Can you share what film projects you’re working on?
A: My recent work is on the True Crime TV series ,
Fatal Attraction. It will actually be airing in a couple of weeks on TvOne network and streaming on different services. Season 14 Episode 45, you do not want to miss it! There are some other major projects that will be in the works soon that I can’t talk about just yet, but I’m so excited about it.
Q: How was your experience on the set of Fatal Attraction?
A: My experience on set was amazing. I played (Victim) lead role, Elizabeth Sullivan, which was a lot of pressure but nothing I could not handle. The directors and crew were all very helpful with guiding me in the process, which made our filming days very successful. We also had a stunt coordinator. That was my first time working with one, and it was so insightful.
