“Directing Babylon Blues has lended me some great insight and encouragement! Every part of preparation had me more and more stoked for the days we’d be shooting. That preparation paid off as cutting corners were hardly a problem, and when it was, every department made sure the quality of the project wouldn’t be compromised. Till this day, I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have had such a talented cast and crew be attached to a project so dear to me, and I can’t wait to work with them again!”

Q. What are some other projects you have coming up?
Leon Lane: As Babylon Blues is currently in post production, I have quite an array of projects in the works! I am currently working on three feature screenplays, one of which is a time travel thriller, set in 2042, New Orleans. Another, is an action, road trip movie as the Apocalypse Prevention Bureau is sent on a mission to… you guessed it, prevent an apocalypse they might’ve accidentally unleashed. Finally, me and a good friend of mine are also writing a passion script based on one of our favorite game franchises. I can’t talk about this one much, all I can say is that the Cold War ended very differently in that universe…
