Hollywood Actresses Kiara Kastle and Alicia Kidman are joining forces to host a unique and inspiring fundraising event – the Artist Picnic with the initiative to support Inner-City Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children through artistic expression. This special gathering is set to take place on March 21st at Lake Hollywood Park, offering a blend of community, creativity, and charitable giving.

The Artist Picnic is envisioned as more than just a typical fundraiser; it’s a vibrant networking event designed to bring together artists across Los Angeles. Taking place in the scenic Lake Hollywood, the picnic aims to bring together meaningful connections, inspire collaborative projects, and celebrate the arrival of spring!
ALICIA KIDMAN & KIARA KASTLE HOST THE ARTISTIC PICNIC FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR INNER-CITY ARTS.

“Artist Picnic is a networking event doubling as a fundraiser,” explains Alicia Kidman. “A day for all artists of every kind in Los Angeles to meet in the beautiful setting of Lake Hollywood, connect and have meaningful conversations, and make collaborative plans towards future artistic endeavors while also raising money for a good cause. Kiara and I wanted to create an event different from your usual party. Something more calm, active, and rejuvenating.”
A Symbolic Date: Celebrating the First Day of Spring
The event, timed perfectly with the first day of spring, symbolizes renewal and growth, both in nature and within the artistic community. Attendees can look forward to live music performances, opportunities for free professional headshots, and a variety of outdoor activities, all designed to encourage interaction and spark creativity.

WHY CHOOSE INNER-CITY ARTS TO FUND?
A core element of the Artist Picnic is its commitment to supporting Inner-City Arts. Both Kiara and Alicia are deeply passionate about the power of art education and believe in its ability to transform lives.

“We’ve decided to host this fundraiser because I believe in the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together for a cause we care about,” says Kiara Kastle. “Fundraisers not only raise much-needed funds but also spread awareness and inspire others to contribute to positive change. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful small actions can be when a group of people rallies behind a shared goal.”
The organizers have set a fundraising goal of $500, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Inner-City Arts. Donations will be accepted through a donation box at the event and via a GoFundMe campaign specifically linked to the organization.
“We truly felt drawn to Inner-City Arts because we deeply value the impact of creative expression in personal growth and healing,” Kiara elaborates. “Inner-City Arts does incredible work in empowering individuals, giving them the freedom to create without fear of judgment, and all ages which is incredible. We understand how important it is to have outlets for creativity and self-expression, especially in underserved communities. We want to ensure that programs like this continue to thrive and make a positive difference in people’s lives.”

As Alicia emphasizes, “The event will be held on Friday the 21st of March which is very symbolic as it’s the first day of Spring. I’m also very excited to announce that we are collaborating with local LA restaurants who want to support our cause by donating food and there will also be live music performances, free headshots and lots of outdoor activities. We are asking everyone to donate what they can to either our donation box or the GoFundMe directly connected with Inner CIty Arts. Our goal is $500 and with everyone’s support and generosity we know we can do it!”
